Not bad!

One of the better classical pieces from some of the stuff I've seen on Newgrounds. Good job on it.

The pizzicato at the beginning was really good, and the melodies in all were OK. Instruments weren't of the best quality, but they were chosen very well.

The transitions weren't that well done. In my opinion, the new instruments came in way too early and abruptly, especially those strings. The ending was pretty strange as well, with the fade. You ended it pretty well, just take away the fade, and it could sound better.

Also, in all, the song needs to be fuller. Add some other instruments like a double bass, some brass, or something to give it a more epic-orchestralish feel to it. The piano needs to have some more chords in it too.

I can't really say I enjoy classical pieces, but obviously I can't lower the score just because I don't like the genre. It's quite short (I know intentionally short, but I don't really see why you can't make it longer), but the melodies and choice of instruments were fine. Good job.

Thanks for the reviews.

The transitions are quick and the ending is quicker just because I'm still trying to get my feet into the genre, I hope to be able to write longer, better thought-out pieces as I gain experience.

Instrumentation is kind of intentionally sparse, for the same reasons, I'm trying to work my way up to a fully textured orchestra. I'm really unimpressed with the brass in garritan, so I'm hesitant to use much of it.

Your input's definitely appreciated.

You sure know how to voice act!

You're definitely one of the best voice actors I've seen on NG. Amazing job!

The different voices are all really good. Every time I thought it was a different voice actor. The voice was all very clear and just the right volume. I especially liked the voice you did at 0:03.

The background music all fit very well with the voice acting and I have nothing to complain about over there. Good job on the different effects you did on your voice, especially the one at the end.

I'd ask you to voice act for me in a flash, if I knew how to animate :(. Well, long story short, you're a great voice actor. Keep up the good work!

Thankyou, Sir SuperSteph!

Another very uplifting review!

I'm very glad you liked the :03 voice! It is one of my little signature voices, kind of-not-really, but it is one of my favorite voices to do :)

With the end, I thank you again. I was worried people would criticize me for the use of effects for some reason. But I saw it as a fitting end and I'm glad you did too :)

I'd love to voice act in your animation if you were to be an animator! Thanks a bunch for the review! :D

Pretty cool!

Quite a cool song, and for someone whose best genre isn't rock, this is quite awesome.

The melody, as they said in the reviews below, is one of your best. Sounds very familiar, and is slightly repetitive, but very catchy. Not bad instruments, but I think the melody needs to be heard a little more. The guitar accompaniament is overpowering the melody too much, and I couldn't make out the melody much.

The transitions were fine. I'd suggest to remove the repetitiveness, you give a tempo or key change when repeating the melody again, and shortening the song a little, since it is quite long. I quite liked the intro, and the ending was great, but if you didn't keep the main instrument so blurry and inferior to the guitar, it could sound better.

The drums were great and varied, and as Haggard said, the beat is quite unique. I wish they were a little louder, since for rock, drums are almost as important as the other instruments.

Still, great rock song. Keep up the good work!

thank you man! Yes, the melody I used is my most personal favorite. Till this day I still repeatedly play it on the piano. Im planning to to much with the melody. I want to serioulsy remaster this track but I'm waiting to upgrade my DAW so I can give it the mastering it requires. I'm not rushing too much to master it because this song is more personal to me (people can still use it though). But If i cant upgrade my DAW soon enough then I will remaster it with what I have.
Thanx!

Messed it up?

No, you did the opposite. You made another quality, top-5 worthy song. Excellent!

The melody is great and catchy, and I definitely have nothing to complain about over there. Really awesome synths. I liked the piano-like one at 1:06 (or is that really a piano?) and the one at the beginning was superb. Great sound effects, too. Good job at 1:30.

The structure of this song is awesome, and the transitions had some very good sound effects occupying them. Although the song was slightly repetitive, the variety of sound effects, and the tempo and pitch change made it awesome from beginning to end.

Drums, as usual, were great. I was looking for a bit of a more gradual build up at 1:42, but everywhere else was fine. Great drum samples.

In conclusion, another great song. I don't know how you do it, but your song ideas and FL Studio make a perfect match. Keep up the awesome work. I like the name, by the way :D.

Oh, and to your response of the review below me - it's not because they probably didn't like your song that they voted a 0, but because they're jealous and talentless wastes of space who zero everyone else's songs to come out on top. They probably enjoyed your song and downloaded it but voted 0 because 'a 0-bomber's gotta do what a 0-bomber's gotta do'.

1:07 is actually a synth. The only thing in here that isn't a synth is the chorus, which is actually fairly impressive, now that i look back on it. Sadly this song had much more potential which I squandered. Stupid, stupid unnecessary key change >C Shoulda introduced the alternate melody waaaaaaaaay earlier too.

Thanks for the review :D

You're a musical GOD!!

Now THIS is a song. As they said in the other reviews, this does sound very familiar, especially the melody at 0:19. Still, amazing anyway. Found it on the Underdog list like ProudAardvark said. Seriously, your name should be dominating that thread :P.

That melody is by far one of the best I've heard in ages. I liked the melody at 0:16 and the familiar one at 0:19. The synths were amazing. I really liked the one that played the intro, and the effects in this song were fantastic.

The transitions were great, and the structure is perfect. I extremely liked the intro, and the ending was great, although I think you should've lengthened the last note a little more.

The drum samples are great, and so are the drums. They're very well varied, fit with the song and didn't get boring. Amazing job :D.

All in all, amazing song. No matter how much I 5-bomb your songs, 0-bombers make sure you still don't get a top 5 X []. Well... whatever, outstanding song, keep up the flawless work!

I made this like... a year ago. I was proud of it at the time but at this point I rather dislike the atmosphere and mixing job.

I *am* dominating the underdog list. I've been on there like 3 times already xP It's hilarious really, because I still technically qualify even after a frontpage.

If I release another song, it will be better then everything else I've made. Thanks for the review :D

Not too special...

It's quite long and repetitive, but not that bad...

The melody was pretty cool, but way too soft, and the main melody that starts at the beginning sounds like humming more than anything else. The instruments were fine, I especially liked the xylophone. Good effects too.

Transitions were quite good, and nothing felt out of place. Good structure too. Intro wasn't anything too special but was quite good. I liked the tamburine hits at the beginning. The ending wasn't that bad, I don't see why you aren't satisfied with it

Drums weren't really that good. Extremely repetitive, but most of the samples were good. The kick was fine, and I liked that reverbed clap/snare or whatever it was. In all, the drums just need more variety, and to maybe fit with the song a little more.

In conclusion, not really the best ambient track I've seen, but not that bad nevertheless. Good instruments, just needs some more variety. By the way, very random name, lol O_o.

Thanks a lot for the review!

Wow!

I usually really get bored listening to house songs, but this song is an exception...

The melodies in this were great, especially the one in 1:02. The instruments were very, very good, especially the one at 0:32 and the violin-like sound at 1:35. The only small problem is that I noticed a slight bit of repetitiveness in this song, but that's what house songs are, I guess...

Transitions were awesome. I loved the sweeps you used. The intro was great, and built up very well and the ending was great, but if you made the sweep last a little longer, it'd be better. There was too much silence at the end, anyway.

The percussion was very well varied and has great samples. Good job :D.

Overall, a great song. For house, this song impressed me a lot, so congratulations for making the first house song that I'll download :D.

TOUCHDOWN!

Too repetitive

Quite a good song, and would make some good background music, but it's too repetitive for my tastes.

The melody was pretty good, and gave the 'war feeling' out. The instruments used weren't bad, but the one that came in at 0:36 bothered me a little. This needs more brass as well, in my opinion. Also, it's too repetitive. The melody barely changed, and it started to get a little annoying. I think the melody should be a little more mighty, it was too quiet, and more varied. On the other hand, the voices were great.

Transitions were great; nothing to complain. The intro was good too, and it built up quite well. The ending, as Fro said, was too abrupt. It was too sudden, the note it ended in wasn't right and was too short.

Drums were fine, and the drum samples were good, but the drums were very repetitive. You should add some fast snares in some part, and change the complexity a little in other parts. Yes, it is background music, but the drum hitting every 1 beat would get very annoying for the person who's playing the game it's in. Also, you should make some small parts where you remove the drums from the song, so that the drums won't get too monotonous.

To summarize it, this has good melodies and most of the instruments were fine, but it was extremely repetitive and it felt like copy and paste throughout the whole song.

Flawless :D

You definitely have a good chance to win. Great song!

The melody was fast-paced and really cool, and the guitar made it sound excellent. I liked the printer samples, especially the 'Printer is Jammed'. Flawless.

Transitions were amazing too, and so were the build ups. I liked the build up at 1:27. The intro fit very well with the song, and the ending was excellent. Flawless.

Those drums out of this world! You used loads of drum samples and different drum beats, and I never got bored of it. Great variety, great buildups, great everything. Flawless.

I can't find anything wrong in this song. You did an amazing job on it, so I'll be expecting it No. 1 in the contest next time I see it :).

im glad you liked it, peace out

SessileNomad

OMG...

Wow! This loop is amazing. As epic as epic can be. They should invent a new genre for this song instead of Classical. How about Classicool, or Catchycal? W/e, the point is, THIS ROCKS!

A very extraordinary melody. It's extremely catchy, epic, amazing and flawless. I really liked the instruments you used. The choir and strings makes it sound so epic, and so do the bells. Loved the part at 0:38, and the part at 0:51. The buildup after was great, too.

The transitions were great, and overall the loop has a godly stucture. Not repetitive, plus all the melodies match each other and sound really well together. The intro with the choir was great, and the ending looped it perfectly. I listened to it loads of times and didn't notice it looped. :D

The drums left me in awe. I have no idea how you made classical drums like these sound so freakin' awesome! They helped a lot with the transitions, and were very good, fit perfectly with the song and varied a lot.

In conclusion, you really did a great job on this. Fits perfectly not only for a meu screen or cinematic, but a battle/boss theme, a soundtrack to some RPG, and well, fits great for everything! Keep this up, you really made my day XD.
