Pretty good :).

It's a nice movie, and I enjoyed it quite a bit, although a few defects put the score down quite a bit.

The animation was smooth in general, and there was a variety of different FBF animation to stop the movie from getting boring, so good job over there. The graphics were great too, but if you made the lines thinner, adding maybe some more detail here and there, and make it less rough, it'd look much better. Also, as Haggard said, the graphics started getting worse towards the end. Also, colours would be a nice touch.

As far as I know, this is an original concept, and you did it really well. There was a variety of different faces an looked cool throughout, with some nice ideas. Still, this didn't really look much like a morph but more like someone trying to draw a face but never draws it decently so has to rub it off loads of times until settling with the final one. It'd sound more like a morph if you used and animated existing lines instead of drawing some, rubbing them off and drawing new ones. Also, this is pretty short, and if you give it more variety, it'd boost your score up quite a bit.

*Goes and checks what the song sounded like*. The song really fit with this animation, and wasn't too quiet or too soft. It kind of ended suddenly at the end though, so maybe if you make this flash longer until you get to the ending of the song or at a part where the song will end without sounding abrupt, it'd make the ending sound better, and it would make the flash a little longer too. Either that, or you could add a replay button and the song keeps playing until the viewer presses it.

It's a cool flash, with a good idea put into it, nice music, and good animation and variety, but it lacks detail, smooth graphics and a non-sudden ending. Other than those, this is pretty well done :).

thanks for the insight, keep writing big ass reviews

This rocks!

I was quite impressed by this, and in all it was a really cool movie! Great job, I enjoyed it from beginning to end :D.

The graphics were, in my opinion, almost flawless. Some parts were a little roughly drawn (for example, the audience) but in general, the graphics were varied, detailed and looked great throughout. The animation was amazing as well, and I especially liked the part where the guy was playing the synthesizer, that was just so cool. Graphics and animation are practically perfect over here. Oh, and wicked preloader XD.

The concept, to my knowledge, is quite original, and fun to watch at the same time. Like Darklight, the part where the boy joined the army was funny and really cool. Humuor here was excellent, and I lol'd quite a few times around the movie. My only complaint which was one of the main reasons why you got a 9 out of me was that you used a number of real videos over here, which really ruined the amazing animation and graphic style that this great movie had. It looked pretty strange after seeing the eye-catching visuals, and I think it would've been better off animated.

The audio was almost perfect. The music changed very smoothly, was just the right loudness, and honestly fit really, really well with the flash. Nice choices of music. Another smaller reason why I gave you a 9 is because in some parts, the voice was quite hard to hear, and I had to turn the sound up rather high, and then music came in which was at normal sound in the flash and blasted through my speakers :\. Other than that, the audio was fantastic.

It shows how hard you worked on this. The huge file size, the time it took for you to make it, the awesomeness, it's all proof what you can do if you put your mind into something. I really enjoyed this video, it needs a much higher score in my opinion. BTW, you may want to add Mild Nudity to that Rating thing :P.

OK, well that was umm... unique

Not too shabby. I usually enjoy randomness here and there, even though this was a little exaggeratingly random.

The animation wasn't that good, since it wasn't smooth and wasn't that eye-catching. You could've animated the dolphin a little more, especially its mouth, and in general some more animation is necessary. After reading the word 'stickmen' in the reviews below, I expected a black and while stickman, but you did manage to colour them in and it didn't look that bad. Still could've been better. The backgrounds are quite simple and the drawings were rough, but it's better than a lot of graphics I've seen (of Flash, I mean).

The concept was extremely random, but it did make me laugh a little. I don't know why it didn't work much for the reviewers under me; I rather enjoyed it. It could have been slightly less random though, like a breakfast exploding in front of your face may've been funny if it had a little story behind it, and a dolphin popping out of nowhere could do with a bit of an introduction (maybe you could move the flash to another scene where it shows a dolphin getting out of the sea, and try to think of a reason why it entered the guy's house).

The audio, as mentioned in practically ever review under me, wasn't too good, since you could barely heard it and I quickly lost track of it. You should make it match more with the flash itself to add to the humour. The dolphin sounds, on the other hand, were quite good.

It's alright as a random flash, but I've seen quite a number of better random flashes around Newgrounds. This is probably the most random I've ever seen, lol :P. Anyway, I let out a chuckle or two here and there, but the animation needs fixing, the graphics, although quite good (I quite liked the way you drew the tongue) was rough in a lot of places, especially at the very beginning, and the audio was too quiet and didn't match that much with the flash. Work on those, and it'd definitely boost your score up by quite a bit.

Hehe, lol, nice job!

Seems like your first submission, and it's awesome. You did a good job on it, and it's almost perfect.

The graphics, as the other reviewers said, fit excellently with the theme you were going for here, and although sometimes they feel a little roughly drawn, (the clouds and plain background are an example), graphics aren't really a big problem in this submission. As Fro said, though, the zooms got annoying. Animation was OK, but not that smooth at times. Also, the lip-syncing, as stated in the other submissions, was a little off, although still, the subtitles you did here were great.

The concept was pretty original, and the humour is what got you most of the points in my review. Not unbelievably funny, but I did laugh quite a bit at the end, and there was a nice variety of different names and reaction to them, and I chuckled a little on almost each one. It's a short submission in all, but you can't take the blame for that, and if the joke was lengthened any more, it would start to get boring. Still, a little animation at the end after some fade transition showing the boat setting sail with the crew members all wearing Pink Fluffy Bunny costumes would add to the humour a little.

The voice acting was awesome, and although the voice in all could have been a little louder, the subtitles took care of that and voice acting was excellently performed. I liked the ocean sounds in the background, they made me imagine the scene much better, but I think you should add some other effects like seagulls in the background or something. Just a suggestion though, since the ocean sounds did a nice job to portraying the scene of pirates.

It's a nice little animation, especially since it's your first submission, so at this rate, you'll turn out to be a great Flash animator. Keep up the great work :D.

I didn't watch the previous ones...

...But this made me want to XD. Excellent job.

The graphics were fine, even though you probably didn't make most of it yourself. Still, everything looked good together, especially the background, which fit with the dark and evil feel of this movie. The sprites were done quite well, and in general, the animation was good.

The concept was good, and the plot made me want to watch more. Usually, I get bored of watching sequels to stuff I haven't watched, but this kept me watching. The fight you did over here was awesome, and so was the script. In all, the story was awesome. I liked the way you ended it with the heartbeat, it had a nice twist to it, and I also enjoyed the fact that this had a menu screen with a scene selection too.

The audio was why I gave you a 9, like the other reviewers did. Voice acting wasn't too special, a little quiet too, and the song jumped from soft to loud really randomly. Sound effects weren't bad, but the voice acting and dynamics of the song need working on.

To conclude, it's a nice sequel which makes me want to watch the ones before it and hope that the next one comes out soon. Good job, keep it up ;).

Cool :D

It's a funny flash movie in general, and I enjoyed watching it.

The graphics are good for flash, and although not the best I've seen (Samuel's chin looks like a backside XD), it definitely beats a lot of flash graphics. The backgrounds were great too, and I noticed that you gave quite a bit of attention to detail in this movie in some parts, which made it a little less boring to look at. The animaion was smooth, although just slightly rough at times, and the walking animation was a bit on the strange side.

You get a few points for originality, since as you said, there are no other music videos using this song on NG. I liked that you added caption option and the movie controls as well, you don't usually see those in flash videos. My only complaint is that in all the flash was a little slow-moving, with Samuel and Rosella taking 10 seconds just to walk a few steps. Still, the music took care of that problem anyway.

The audio, if not a little muffled, was really funny, and even though the quality wasn't great, the captions were perfectly done and made the lyrics understandable. I liked how you synced the flash with the audio so well.

I don't usually enjoy music videos that much, but this is an exception. The well-drawn backgrounds, captions, flash-audio syncing and movie controls make this music video definitely worth watching.

chesster415 responds:

Thanks, I personally like Samuel's chin. I thought it gave him some character. I deliberately made them move slowly, because they're old. (Especially when they hobble off, drunk on Geritol.) But, it seems like people don't care for that too much. In retrospect slow is probably not such a hot idea.

Too spammy, butI guess that's clock day...

Nothing that special, really. It's not horrible, but not with that much work put into it either.

Firstly, the graphics were bad, and need some working on. The building looked strange, the road wasn't symmetrical and the trash can was ermm... colourful. Also, the main character did look quite roughly drawn. The animation, as it is in a lot of submissions like these, was just the arrow waving instead of mouth moving. Some more animation would be nice, and maybe you could vary the transitions of the pictures instead of making them appear so suddenly.

The storyline was funny, and good enough to keep me watching, and the concept was OK. More characters, and maybe a longer flash in all with a better plot and a more suitable introduction and ending would be better though. Still, the story and concept got you the most points over here for some decent humour.

The audio wasn't bad, but it was just another computer-rendered voice, and it was quite hard to understand. Voice acting here would be great, but it's only spam with not much work that needs to be put into it. You could make the voice a little easer to understand.

Well, it's an above-average clock day submission, but unfortunately a below-average flash submission. Still, it's just spam, and better than a lot of spam I've seen recently, so in all, not a bad job.

Nice.

It does show that you worked hard on this, and it's pretty good, too.

The graphics were OK; better than a lot of graphics in flash that I've seen recently, although some drawings were to rough and the handwriting at the end was really hard to read. I don't think you should make it text since it would ruin the feel of the movie, but you should try and make it neater (start by fixing that horrible looking 'n' :P). The animation was fine, just needs to be slightly smoother, especially when he was walking at the beginning.

The concept here is quite a nice concept, and played out pretty well. A little random, but the randomness actually made the movie better. I think the story at the end was hard to catch on though, you should work more on the storyline.

The voice acting here was great, and just the right loudness. I suggest that you add some reverb to them since by not moving his mouth I got the impression that he was relating the story in a flashback, and it sound better a little more echoey (PM me if you don't have a proper sound editor which can add reverb). The music used here was made by one of the best artists on NG XD, and it fit really well with the movie.

It's a really nice movie, showing how hard you worked on it, but the storyline at the end, the animation and the handwriting are what really need fixing over here.

Hey, thanks for reviewing, I like your honesty; not only do you tell me what were the bad parts, and good parts of it, but you actually suggest on what to do to improve it ,thanks to you I know what to work on now, the hand writing is hard to fix though, I don't know why; but it's just hard to write neatly, even in real life O_o.

Lol, hilarious music XD

Nice job on this. Not bad.

The graphics weren't that amazing. It needs something more attractive in my opinion, like something other than a white background, some text, and a few pictures. The animation was nice, and synced very well with the music, which is one of the best things about this animation.

The music's very unique and funny, plus it fit really well with the flash. I think some sound effects or something to make this advert sound more epic or something, like an explosion sound effect every time a new piece text appears.

This is supposed to be an advertisement, so I expected it to be a bit more epic with eye-catching colour schemes and an attractive layout. Still, the music put in here was great, and so was the animation syncing with it, so good job :D, especially for your first submission. Sorry for the short review, I don't really have much to say about this :(.

Lol

A really funny movie, and an original idea, but a lot of aspects here ruin it a little.

The graphics weren't that good, and the pixels were way too large. Although the lip-syncing was quite good, the mouths were too big, and the arms didn't look like they were attached to the body. Also, Sonic looked really strange too, and so did the gunshot wound. You should make the graphics a little neater, and maybe add a background or two to this flash to remove the ugly white background. The animation wasn't smooth either.

The concept and story are what really put this score up. I never heard of a Mac and PC being actual persons in a commercial, or Sonic with them either, so you get points for originality. This was funny too, especially when PC shot the bullet, it reflected back to Mac and he died, lol :D.

The voice acting here was excellent, good quality and understandable. It's just Sonic who sounded strange but I guess you can blame the crack and helium for that :P. The music in the background didn't really fit that well with the movie; you should find a song made using XP sounds only to play in the background; I'm sure you'll find some good ones here on NG. The sound effects were OK, but nothing too special.

In all, it's an original and fun-to-watch movie, so much that I wanted to watch it more than once, but the music in the background, the animation and the graphics put down the score quite a bit :(.
