Cool :)

Not such a bad idea to a song. I quite enjoyed it. Still, it has some problems in it.

I'll start with the drums. The beat is pretty good, but it plays for too long in the song, is way too loud, and overpowers the main melody too much. I only heard about 3 or so drum samples used, so try and vary those too.

The main tune repeated itself quite a lot throughout the song. It's relaxing, and the instruments you chose are perfect, but it got a little boring to hear after repeating itself so much.

The ending sounds like it would make a good loop, but there was some silence after which made it a song. I think as a loop, it would sound better, or at least give it a good note to end with if you really want a song instead.

Transitions were done very well, and I didn't find even one transition which felt off. Also, the song fit very well with the name, so good choice of the name.

There are some defects in this song, especially the fact that it's very repetitive, but the melodies themselves are very good, so keep up the good work :).

Alright, thanks for the feedback. The drums were probably off because I EQed them and tailored to them on some very shit headphones, you probably have some rapetastic speakers going on, which must've changed the intended sound I was going for.

As for the boring part, It was probably there because well, I composed this mainly for school purposes, there was a project and I had to write something, so I just had to put really bassy drums and weak melodies, because this was supposed to be sung to. Well, it wasn't used for the project in the end, so here I am, stuck with this, too lazy to tailor it to NG standards.

Yeah, it is a very relaxing song, the subject matter it was supposed to have was about the life and times of this saint :P

And the name, well 'change' was part of the life of this saint, so me being cheesy and original, stuck with that title.

Yeah, thanks!

Really good!

One of the most useful loops I've ever seen. Fits the name perfectly, and I enjoyed listening to it quite a bit.

The melody was pefect for the feel of the song, and didn't repeat itself too much, plus the instrument that plays it was perfect. I'd suggest a piano playing some high notes that might make it better.

I liked the ending quiet a bit, where you were playing the melody with the guitar, and then it suddenly switched to the main instrument. It fit the loop perfectly.

The only flaws I found was that the accompanying guitar in the background didn't change at all during the song, and it got a little monotonous to listen to. Also, I think this needs a little soft percussion to it. Some percussive hits like a soft kick and crash cymbal in a few parts, and a really soft drum beat playing in the background might add to the awesomeness of this song.

In general, it's a very well performed loop. Very few problems, great melodies, choice of instruments, so great song, I guess :).

that has to be the best review ive ever gotten :) thank you for that i never conciderrd adding more to this i might have to now though as for the other guitar i was thinking it felt very similar the whole time maby i will have to arrange it for a bigger ensemble because for this particular one i feel its where it should be but arranging it might give artists more options

Wow, not bad!

Very good start. Seems like it's going to turn out to quite a great song. :)

Loved the intro; a little blurry, but the notes were great. I expected a new instrument to come in at around 0:55, not stay piano. The drums seemed to overpower the piano, so maybe you could use some saw synth and a high plucked instrument in the background, plus some bass?

The drums overall were very good, and varied pretty well too. they were built up quite well. Some more variety of drum samples would fit pretty well, but it's still not bad as it is.

I enjoyed this quite a bit. An excellent start, I'm sure it'll become an awesome song. Good luck XD.

Ive rebalanced the piano and drums, so that should be fixed, thanks for the luck, and the review!

Yuck, MIDI... :P

Apart from the fact that the qualtiy is MIDI, this is out of this world! A very complicated piece, well varied, and it looks like you put heaps of work into it.

That piano is extraordinary. Harmonized perfectly with the saxophone, and really varied but still not feeling random. I liked the part at around 1:02 and at 1:37.

The saxophone's notes were very well done too. Good job with the crescendos, and the fast notes when it was getting to the end were fantastic.

The beginning and ending were both really good. It's just the ending that felt a little off, since the last note wasn't held long enough, and it ended slightly suddenly.

Very good piece, I enjoyed it quite a lot, especially the piano. Keep up the great work!

ok i know i said the last one was my best review ever but this is prolly better im kinda reviewing your review but your really good at it :) the ending is just this recording (theres actually a fermata at the end) i actually have a sax player lined up (i could do it but hes better then me :)) but i still need to find a piano player but it is soon to come thanks again for the review and its ok if classical aint your style :) I hate classical and baroque but its what you need to do to get into music school lol im more of a romantic on kinda guy on which i dont consider classical (compair clair de lune to mozart piano sonata compleatly different) lol im also a film music kind of guy but you gotta listen to all music to do that i mean john williams is basically a Stravinsky impersonator anyways thanks again for the review

Awesome remix!

Honestly, this remix is quite good! Best I've heard, and flawless compare to my version of Terminator remix...

The sound at the beginning was a little strange, and the first piano notes had too much silence inbetween them, but the piano solo was just unbeatable. A little long, though, I mean, for Heavy Metal.

When it came to the guitar, my eyes widened. The guitar was really good. So was the choir that came after, it definitely gave a terminating feel to it.

Drums were really good too, but as they said in the other reviews, for Heavy Metal, they should be louder. Some notes on the guitar were too off rythm as well...

The ending was very, very good, and I definitely can't complain about it. It ended in the right note, and at the right time.

It's a very good remix, and that piano part was very good. It kinda ruined the 'Terminator' and Heavy Metal feel, though, so maybe you could try and harmonize the electric guitar and make them play together, or just shorten the piano part. Still, really good job on it, keep it up!

Thats not a bad idea. Harmonizing the guitar and piano. Thanks for the review.

Not bad...

Not too bad, a little repetitive, but still pretty good.

The kicks were very good, and felt right at home in this song. It's really repetitive though so you should change it a little. You could make another drum beat with cymbals, snares, maybe some gongs in some parts, etc, or if you really want the drum beats with kicks only as main drums, you could vary some more with different kicks, and experiment in mixing them.

There were loads of different melodies in this song, but it didn't feel random, and the structure and transitions were done quite well. The first part where that instrument came in lasted for too long, though.

The beginning was a little off. Instead of starting it with that sound, start it with the drum beat going from soft to loud and then the sound starting. The ending needed a bit of an ending note to it, in my opinion, or maybe a loud reverbed kick. Also, there was too much silence after that.

To summarize, it's not too bad. Transitions and structure were very good, but the instruments felt a little off, and the beginning and ending need a little working on. Oh and I like the name, by the way ;). Good choice.

Thank you for your review)))

Great start!

Drums were very well done, especially the drum beat that appears at the end of the song. I think that sometimes, the drums come in to the melody too early though. For the first part, It think the kicks and cymbals should come in after 4 bars, not 2 (starting at 0:07 not 0:03), and the drum beat at the end started too early (better to start it close to 0:50 not 0:46).

The melodies were quite good, and there were loads of different sounds and instruments which made the song enjoyable from beginnning to end. Needs a few more effects here and there though, in my opinion.

The beginning (putting aside the fact that the drum beat was too early) was quite good, and the buildup was pretty professionally done. This didn't loop well, though. There was a little silence after the last note which ruined the loop.

As for the name, it needs a little work. Fits very well with the song, but needs to be more catchy. I'd suggest 'Woken from the Grave', 'Cry of the Undead', 'Death Awaits' or 'Undead Army'. Yeah, I'm a little rusty with names :\.

To summarize, a very good start, and I can see heaps of potential in this song. A little short, so you should work on lengthening it, but it's quite well varied and really good overall. Good luck on it XD.

WOw thanks a lot.

Yeah ive been working here lately right after i posted this. But I do have an exact idea where this song is going to go and yes i do realize that there needs to be a bit more effects. I just havent found any that fits to well yet.

Ill keep in mind ur thoughts on this. It will be a song next one i upload. and i did like ur name ideas. I think i might be using one ur suggestions lol

Thanks a Heap

Really original!

I enjoyed this quite a bit. The sounds don't harmonize perfectly, but it's an awesome start and very, very original. I never even thought 8-bit could get anywhere close to heavy metal, but you have achieved it, and very well too.

The melody was quite catchy, epecially the beginning, when the guitar came i, and the second part was pretty awesome. A small problem in my opinion is that the melody jumped around from high to low notes a little and that there are no proper drums present (PM me if you want an 8-bit drum and effect set.)

The beginning was quite cool, and the fade ending was pretty cool too. The transitions, as you said, need some fixing, especially the one at 1:08, though.

Still, it's an awesome song, and the combination of two competely different genres like these really impressed me. Keep up the great work!!

loansindi responds:

Thanks for the review.

I think this can go somewhere.

Drums are still something i'm working on synthesizing. I think they're coming along.

Like i've said, the stuff after 1:08 is where I really want to go with it, heavy rhythm guitar with synth (and eventually guitar) leads over it.

Your input is appreciated.

Really good!

Excellent instruments, they fit perfectly with the song. The reverse cymbal that first appeared at the beginning was really awesome, and the intro was extraordinary. The bass was repetitive though and although it fit very well to the song, it didn't change at all. This song needs some more drums around it in my opinion. The drum beat started at 1:15 and ended at 2:27, but was very simple. That drum beat should start at about 0:46, a more complicated beat between 1:15 and 2:27, and at the end some quiet high hats or ride bell cymbals. Also, I think this needs more of a melody to it. The melody it has now is awesome, but some fast notes somewhere, would fit pretty well. The piano parts were quite cool, but need a few chords and faster notes. Still, the ending was good, the instruments chosen were perfect, fits the name very well, and is relaxing and awesome at the same time. Even though it has a few flaws, I really enjoyed it, so keep up the great work!

Thank you for the informative review! I will take note of the flaws and do a better job next time, I'm still an amateur at these things... and I do apologize for that.

Pretty good ^^

Man, your songs are always so long XD. Well, here goes...
As usual, very catchy melody, but it's quite repetitive, still. It's a long song, but it does the same thing most of the time. The intro was good, though, and the drums were really good. It fits the name extremely well, and the fade was perfect for this song. The loud booms like the one at 3:05 were very cool, I wish I heard a little more of them in the song. The bells, in my opinion, were a little too soft in most parts, and in all, the song needed a little more fullness in it. Some more synths playing together would do well, like a space-ish ambient synth and some louder bells. The buildups were awesomely done, though, and the transitions were really cool too. Overall, this song has a melody fit for a king, but it's really repetitive. Add some different melodies and some other instruments like a piano playing different melodies while the main melody is playing. Your melodies are always catchy, so if you give some more variety, this would definitely have a huge chance of entering the Top 5, in my opinion ;). Keep up the good work, and I hope to see this updated XD!

As my songs are long your reviews are also...which i love :D
This song still does need quite alot of work I know an dyou have pointed out some really key issues there that I didn't even consider tbh.

As I was reading your idea about ading some piano, I was thinking of some counter melodies that could work really well that I havn't thought of before.

Variety is always an issue with me, so thanks for giving me that push to make my stuff more varied :)
So thanks for the review and in around a week it will be updated, so come back and take a listen :D

Thanks again for advice and your review.
