I guess to each their own -- I do enjoy what she does enjoy, but much of my pieces were through listening and recommendation, rather than attachment to a specific composer.
That being said, I wonder if it'll rub anyone the wrong way that the former Grade 8 pianist now has an even greater affection for percussions.... >_<

Haha, I enjoy what she enjoys too, but it really does depend on the piece. Classical/baroque era stuff is usually pretty enjoyable but I find some of the pieces to be a bit bland or expressionless, which is why I'm a lot more partial to romantic, impressionist and modern pieces (and she can tell that very easily by the way I play them).
