1. detailed description of what went wrong, make sure to show your disappointment.
2. explain why you think the company is at fault
3. what you think the company should do (follow up actions)
4. ask the company to respond to your letter and include your contact
Oooh, nice points. Maybe I can rack up a few hundred words with those. It won't be easy though - I'll have to do a lot of beating around the bush if I want to reach 500.
That's the most boring assignment I have heard of in my life.
Yup yup yup. I mean we had some pretty cool ones before like a descriptive one; "My Escape From Reality" and a narrative one; "The Bell Tolling in the Night", but this one's just god awful.
if i were you, i would keep the letter as concise as possible and get straight to the point. i would never be redundant even though i didn't quite meet the word requirement.
inserting unncessary phrases or words is much worse than writing below the word limit. besides, you can always make a 400-word essay look like a 500-word essay.
The tough part is that my teacher is VERY particular with the words. She actually counts the words and reduces a lot of marks straight away if she realises we don't get around 500 words in. But yeah I see your point.
Get down into the fine print.
Seriously though, that's a pretty tough assignment. To add on to what i-am said, you could bring up your older bills and mention the inconsistency of it since the last few bills were in close range of each other. You could also throw in a note about contacting higher management if they don't reply or the problem isn't fixed. Anything and everything that works from a faulty business stand-point should work.
