I uploaded the track which Echo and I made for the NGMT Contest. It's supposed to follow the theme of 'Biodome'.

Heh, yeah, I just glanced the thread.. but it sounds like a good setup! I've been trying to get my slacker, guitar playing friends here involved with something. I guess if it's not a simple submission, or a battle-of-the-bands at the local high school, they don't think they can compete.

Yep, that's my daily life. Walk around, make contests, get bored and play games for 3 hours straight, give unsolicited suggestions, and more irrelevant stuff.

Can I ask you methods both you and Echo worked with for Collabing? Do you both have the same Vsts?
The only VSTs we share are Omnisphere, Ra, EZdrummer, Virtual Guitarist and Stormdrum 2 actually. Then he's got Cinebrass, VOXOS, Symphonic Choirs, Symphonic Orchestra Platinum, Pianos Gold, Silk, Ministry of Rock, Voices of Passion, Anthology Celtic Winds, Cinematic Strings, z3ta+ 2 and Nexus which I don't have.
I asked him to send me audio files of certain sections or instruments in the song, or if he uses a VST which we both use, then MIDI files, and then I incorporate them in the song myself. For example, the 1:54 buildup (up till 2:49) is all his work (apart from most of the drums).
Sometimes we meet up to make music since we live nearby (you can't really live far off to anyone here in Malta haha), which was the case with our track Primoris, but other times we just do it over Skype, like for Encapsulation.
I think they live nearby and yes pretty sure they have the same VSTs... for the most part.

It did get submitted on time! NGMT doesn't work like most contests; rather than submitting it to Newgrounds, you send it to SkyeWintrest before the deadline ends who will upload them all to SoundCloud under anonymous names so nobody knows who made what. Then, he links them all in a thread and each competitor votes for his/her favourite. Only the people who took part can vote. After that, whoever gets the most votes wins.
Since we have to remain anonymous, I had to wait until the contest was over before uploading it to Newgrounds!
